MEANINGFUL WITHOUT BEING FORMAL FOR THE SAKE OF IT

A ceremony that sounds like you — not everybody else.

No stock script. No wedding clichés because somebody thinks they ought to be there. I get to know you, understand what matters and build something warm, relaxed and genuinely personal.

01 / YOUR STORY

Written from scratch

Your people, your history, your humour and your priorities. The ceremony is built around the two of you rather than adapted from a template.

02 / THE ROOM

Warm, confident delivery

Years in radio, hosting and live events mean I’m comfortable in front of people — without turning your ceremony into a performance about me.

03 / YOUR WEDDING

Freedom to make it yours

Hotel, country house, barn, garden, marquee or somewhere completely different. The ceremony should fit the wedding, not the other way around.

MEET PAUL

A celebrant who already knows how to hold a room.

I’ve spent decades working with live audiences as a broadcaster, DJ and event host. The useful part of that experience is not simply being comfortable with a microphone. It’s knowing how to listen, read people, control pace and make something feel natural.

That is exactly what I bring to a wedding ceremony: confidence without ego, warmth without forced sentiment, and enough experience to deal with the unexpected without anybody else needing to notice.

THE DIFFERENCE

One person who can take you from the vows to the last record.

The person who learns your story before the ceremony can also be the person reading the room at midnight.

CELEBRANT + WEDDING DJ

Less handover. More continuity. Better day.

You can book me just for the ceremony, just for the evening, or combine both. The combined option means fewer suppliers, one point of contact and someone who understands the shape of the whole wedding rather than one isolated part of it.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ACTUALLY ASK

Wedding celebrant FAQs

What does a wedding celebrant actually do?

A wedding celebrant creates and delivers a personal ceremony built around you. That can include your story, readings, music, symbolic elements and contributions from family or friends.

Can a celebrant wedding ceremony be legally binding in England?

In England and Wales, the legal marriage requirements are normally completed separately through a register office or approved venue with an authorised registrar. A celebrant ceremony gives you much more freedom over the content, wording, timing and location of the celebration itself.

Can we book you as both our celebrant and wedding DJ?

Yes. You can book either service separately or combine them, giving you one point of contact from ceremony planning through to the evening celebration.

Do you travel outside Surrey and London?

Yes. I work across the South East, including Kent, Sussex, Berkshire, Hampshire and Essex, and can discuss weddings further afield.

How far ahead should we enquire?

As soon as you have a date is sensible, particularly for popular spring and summer weekends. If your wedding is sooner, it is still worth asking because availability varies.

YOUR DATE. YOUR VENUE. YOUR STORY.

Let’s make the ceremony feel like your wedding.

Tell me the date, venue and the kind of day you’re planning. There’s no obligation — just a conversation about whether I’m the right fit.

What to expect

Your ceremony, thoughtfully created.

We start with a conversation about your relationship, your ideas and the atmosphere you want. From there we agree the scope of your ceremony, which may include a personally written script, vows and readings, symbolic rituals such as handfasting, and coordination with your venue. Preparation, review arrangements, any rehearsal and exact inclusions are confirmed in your proposal before booking.

You can book me just as your celebrant, or combine your ceremony with DJ and hosting services for a connected day.
