A ceremony written for the setting

Your vows, readings, music and symbolic rituals can all reflect the location. A relaxed setting doesn’t have to mean a less meaningful ceremony.

Questions & answers

Good to know.

Can we get legally married in a garden?

Rules for legal marriage in England and Wales depend on the venue and the authorised ceremony. A celebrant-led outdoor ceremony is generally symbolic, with any required legal marriage arranged separately.

What if it rains?

A sheltered or indoor alternative is always a sensible part of the plan.

Can we include handfasting?

Yes. Handfasting and other symbolic rituals can work well in an outdoor ceremony.
